Wives of the Knights of Columbus, get together monthly, to make mission rosaries. Some have been donated to the local Catholic Elementary and Junior High Schools. They are also available at both Churches, the KSB chapel and are used by the Ministry of Compassion. Worldly the rosaries have gone home with visiting missionary priests. Some have gone to Russia with the Helping Hearts Orphan Mission. Additional outlets are being explored.

Supplies are obtained through donations from the Knights of Columbus and other charitable organizations.

On Dec. 1,2011, 200 finished rosaries were packed and mailed to Fairfield Bay, Arkansas, to a priest who visits his homeland in Nigeria, Africa, each December. He is the pastor of the Catholic church in Fairfield Bay. Lorraine was visiting her sister  who is very active in the church in the community. In a short visit with the priest after Sunday mass, Lorraine told the priest about our rosary ladies and offered to share some rosaries with him to take on his yearly visit to Nigeria. He was elated in his reply, people and the mission will be very pleased with this blessed gift.

This is what happens to some of the rosaries the ladies make.

Ladies who would like to join the "Rosary Makers" should call Jean @ 815-288-4802 or Lorraine @ 815-652-2076
